DESTINATIONS
Umnugobi province Umnugobi province with its largest territory locates in the area of Gobi Desert. The gobi holds many attractions such as southern part of Altai range – mountains of Gobi Gurwan Saikhan, Sevrei, Noyon Bogd, Nomgon, Tsost, Nemeegt, Altai uul, Gilbent which are elevated over 3000 meters above the sea level and the great sand dunes of Khongoryn Els which continues 185 km to the North of the country, the widest deserts such as Shalba, Borzon, Zeemeg, Zag and Suuj. Most of the area is covered with light grey and light brown topsoil with 250 konds of rare bush – type and foliaged medicinal herbs. The untouched land of Desert and rocky mountains are full of wildlife including protected rare animals like Mazalaai - Gobi bear, snow leopard, wild ass, black- tailed gazelle, argali sheep and ibex. [More...] Yolyn am “Lammergeir’s valley” The national park of Gobi Gurvan saikhan “Three beautiful of Gobi” Mountains is located in the Southern part of the Altai range including strictly protected area of Yolyn Am famous for its mysterious beauty not only in Mongolia but also in the world. The valley can be reached after 40 km drive from Dalanzadgad city.Its wide entrance narrows gradually into a remarkable gorge. A small river flows along the narrow valley. Sheltered by high cliff walls from both sides of the canyon, thick ice gorges remain frozen even on summer hot days. [More...] Karakorum-The ancient capital of Mongolia The Symbolic ruins of Karakorum, the ancient capital city of Mongolia is one of the most popular travel destinations along with Erdenezuu monastery, the second largest Buddhist monastery in the country. Karakorum city was established in 1220 and served as the capital city of the Mongolia for 140 years. [More...] Erdene zuu Monastery Erdene zuu, the first of Buddhist Monastery in Mongolia. Was built next to the ruins of Mongolia’s ancient capital it Karakhorum in 1585 on the order of Abtai San Khaan. Historical records suggest that the remnants of the capital building it were used in the construction of the Monastery. Today this beautiful monastery contains 108 stupas and attracts numerous tourists to see one of the best examples of traditional Mongolian Buddhist architecture. [More...] Taikhar Rock Mysterious Taikhar Chuluu rock stands not from Tsetserleg town. The rock is steep sided pinnacle of granite with a height of 25 meters. It rises abruptly from the flat grassland in the Basin of Tamir River. Locals worship the rock as a deity. There is no common agreement amongst geologists about the origin of this puzzling phenomenon, and it remains an enigma. [More...]

Itineraries

Day 1 Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and City tour
Arrival to Ulaanbaatar and check in hotel.

Day 02 Mountain via Hustai Nuruu
Will pick up from the hotel. We will drive to /100 km/ via Khustai Nuruu National Park, where pastures Przewalsky wild horse, which brought from Holland in framework of international project, and explore local natural beauty. Lunch in the tourist camp. Then, will reach Khogno Khan mountain, where we’ll have a great opportunity to view and screen endless area from top of the mountain. It will give a wonderful feeling to explore the nature beauty. The landscape composition is quite exciting that mountain, grassland covered with beautiful flowers like - edelweiss, forest, rivers and sand dunes combined all-in-one and explore it by walking or horse riding, where we need to rent horses from local area. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp.

Day 3 Erdene Zuu monastery and Karakorum city
After breakfast, drive to Karakorum visa Elsen tasarhai – capital city of Great Mongol Empire founded in times of Genghis Khan - 13th century. Meanwhile, we will visit the oldest Monastery – Erdene-Zuu, with 108 stupas and was built in 1586 and explore the daily meeting of monks – how they’re praying, reading the sutra. Then will drive back to Khogno Khan mountain. On the way will visit local horse breeding family to experience nomads way of life. Dinner and overnight in ger camp.

Day 4 Taihar Rock
After breakfast, we will drive to Taikhar rock. Lunchbox. After arrival in Taikhar rock will explorie the river, nature landscape and wildlife by walking and can have good photo shots. You will ride a horse, bear foal, milk mare, cow and sheep and meet method to move the yurt. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp.

Day 5 Khorgo extinct volcano crater and Terkhiin tsagaan lake
After breakfast, will drive to Horgo will explore and discover the Horgo extinct volcano crater, which crater deep is 200 meters, and Terkhiin tsagaan lake – good spot for bird watching and fishing. Lunchbox. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp.

Day 6 Tsenher hot spa
After breakfast, drive back to Tsetserleg administrative center of Arkhangai province. Lunch – picnic. Drive to Tsenkher hot spa, which water temperature reaches up to + 80 C degrees and have a bath under blue sky. Explore the local area by walking. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp.

Day 7 Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast, Drive back to Ulaanbaatar and Lunchbox. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 8 South Gobi
After breakfast, we continue the trip to Khongoryn Els sand dunes, which extends over 180 km. Lunchbox. On the way meet local camel breeding family. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp.

Day 9 South Gobi via Bayanzag & Flaming Cliffs
After breakfast will drive to explore Bayanzag – biggest saxaul forest and Flaming cliffs, where you will find the archaeology place, when Roy Andrew Chapman discovered fossilized dinosaurs skeleton and eggs in 1920s. Driving through South Gobi will give you a great impression by view of the flora and fauna of northern desert in the world. Lunch – picnic. At end of the day will arrive in Gobi tourist camp. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp.

Day 10 Yol Canyon / Three Beauties National Park
Today we have a day trip to Yol Canyon – exciting place, which composed from rocky high mountain ranges of Three Beauties of Gobi and Altai mountain. Lunch. Dinner in the tourist camp. Overnight in tourist camp.

Day 11 Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast, In the morning we were flying to Ulaanbaatar. Lunch, dinner in restaurant in Ulaanbaatar, overnight in hotel.

Day 12 Ulaanbaatar and 500 horse show
After breakfast, we have city tour. Included “Genghis’s cavalry again” 500 horsemen’s show and Zaisan Hill and Sukhbaatar Square, History museum … and other Mongolian top destinations. Lunch, Dinner and overnight in Ulaanbaatar hotel.

Day 13 Terelj Khan Khenty National Park
We will drive around 70 km to reach the National Park Terelj Khan Khenty – most exciting place near the city. Lunch. Explore the extraordinary formation of rocks and stones, which some of them looks quite similar with Turtle, person who reading book and others – by walking or horse riding, where we need to rent horses from local area. Then, going to meet local people. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp.

Day 14 Departure
After breakfast will be transferred from hotel to train station or airport.

Glad for Guide, Driver and Gobi sunshine workers. I will never forget this nice tour. We traveled by mongolian nice nature and National Park. First,We reached Khustai National Park.Also We saw wild horse. After we reached Elsen tasarhai and saw comparing Khangai and Gobi. It is really amazing nature. And than we saw Erdene zuu monastery (ancient capital) and Taihar Rock. We have ever ridden a horse there. It was so nice.Afte that we saw Khorgo volcano. After Khorgo, we came in Tsenkher hot spa and we had overnight there. And than We flied to South Gobi from UB city and saw Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park. We went back to UB city tomorrow morning.
