Yolyn am “Lammergeir’s valley”
The national park of Gobi Gurvan saikhan “Three beautiful of Gobi” Mountains is located in the Southern part of the Altai range including strictly protected area of Yolyn Am famous for its mysterious beauty not only in Mongolia but also in the world. The valley can be reached after 40 km drive from Dalanzadgad city.Its wide entrance narrows gradually into a remarkable gorge. A small river flows along the narrow valley. Sheltered by high cliff walls from both sides of the canyon, thick ice gorges remain frozen even on summer hot days. The valley is rich with wild animals like ibex, argali sheep which can be seen peacefully feeding, Also many rare birds sing in the sky over the rock walls. Bayanzag- The Flaming Cliffs
First discovered by Roy Chapman Andrews, famous American explorer in the 1920, flaming cliffs of Bayanzag are an important site for both archeological and paleonthological finds. Complete dinosaur (protocertops) and Egg-thief (Oviraptor) and numerous eggs were excavated in ravines between the red flaming cliffs, which look like fire in the middle of the desert from distance.

Gandan Monastery

Gandan is the largest and most significant monastery in Mongolia and one of Ulaanbaatar’s most interesting sights. Built in the mid 19th century, it is the only monastery where Buddhist services continued to function even during the communist past.
The Migjid Janraisag Temple is an important part of Gandan monastery. The temple houses the majestic new gilded statue of Migjid Janraisag, decorated with jewels. The 26 meter high 20 ton statue is a copy of another statue that was destroyed in the 1920’s by communists. The statue was built donations of Mongolian people as symbol of Buddhist revival in the mid 1990’s.

Day 01 Ulaanbaatar
Arrival to Ulaanbaatar and check in hotel.

Day 02 Ulaanbaatar city tour
After breakfast, will have to Gandantegchilen Monaster, Suhbaatar square, shopping and other special things. For Lunch in a restaurant. You will see concert that Mongolian folklore ensemble “Tumen ekh” in the evening. It is Mongolian traditional song and music. We hope that you will like it. Overnight & Dinner in a Hotel.

Day 03 Ongi temple
After breakfast, we will drive to Dalanzadgad of Omnogobi province. Lunchbox. Middle Gobi is great expectation of different wildlife, nature, historical places like the Ongin Monastery ruins, which one of the oldest monasteries in desert, situated on the bank of Ongi river and has over 200 years age. Dinner & Overnight to Ongi tourist camp.

Day 04 Yol canyon
After breakfast, we will drive to Yol Canyon. You can see pasturing camels, impressive plain place with deep blue sky and have short walking on the way. After lunch, today we have a day trip to Yol canyon – exciting place, which composed from rocky high mountain ranges of Three Beauties of Gobi and Altai Mountain. And we will rent Camels by around tourist camp via Yol canyon. Dinner in the tourist camp. Overnight in tourist camp.

Day 05 Khongoryn Els sand dunes via Bayanzag & Flaming Cliffs
After breakfast, we will drive to Khongor Els sand dune. Today’s first spot is the Bayanzag – biggest saxaul forest and Flaming Cliffs, where you will find the archeology place, when Roy Andrew Chapman discovered fossilized dinosaurs skeleton and eggs in 1920s. Lunchbox. Visit the local nomad family to experience their live and discover traditional dwelling – ger and taste traditional diary products. In the late afternoon will arrive in Khongoryn Els sand dunes. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp. After dinner we will play ankle boon.

Day 06 Erdene zuu monastery
After breakfast, we will drive to Erdene zuu monastery. Lunchbox. Dinner & overnight in tent. On the way we will visit nomadic family. Here we will discover Mongolia culture & tradition.

Day 07 Erdene zuu monastery & Khar Khorin ancient city
After breakfast, we will visit The Kara-Korum – capital city of Mongolian Empire was founded in times of Genghis Khan - 12th century. Meanwhile, we will visit the Monastery – Erdene-Zuu, with 108 stupas and was built in 1586. Then will drive to the tourist camp. Lunch, dinner and overnight in tourist camp.

Day 08 Ulaanbaatar via Khustai National Park
After breakfast, we will drive to ULN. On the way visit the Khustai National Park, where we’ll explore Przewalsky wild horse. Lunchbox. At afternoon arrival in Ulaanbaatar. Check in hotel. Dinner. Overnight in hotel.

Day 13 Departure
After breakfast will be transferred from hotel to train station or airport.
