Karakorum-The ancient capital of Mongolia The Symbolic ruins of Karakorum, the ancient capital city of Mongolia is one of the most popular travel destinations along with Erdenezuu monastery, the second largest Buddhist monastery in the country. Karakorum city was established in 1220 and served as the capital city of the Mongolia for 140 years. [More...] Hustai National Park After two hours drive to the west from Ulaanbaatar, you will arrive at Hustain nuruu Natutal reserve. In this forest steppe zone, the takhi, or Przewalski horse, the last true wild horse in the world, is being reintroduced. The takhi disappeared from the Gobi desert in the 1960 and world was left with small capital breeding population of horses in European zoos. [More...] Erdene zuu Monastery Erdene zuu, the first of Buddhist Monastery in Mongolia. Was built next to the ruins of Mongolia’s ancient capital it Karakhorum in 1585 on the order of Abtai San Khaan. Historical records suggest that the remnants of the capital building it were used in the construction of the Monastery. Today this beautiful monastery contains 108 stupas and attracts numerous tourists to see one of the best examples of traditional Mongolian Buddhist architecture. [More...] Taikhar Rock Mysterious Taikhar Chuluu rock stands not from Tsetserleg town. The rock is steep sided pinnacle of granite with a height of 25 meters. It rises abruptly from the flat grassland in the Basin of Tamir River. Locals worship the rock as a deity. There is no common agreement amongst geologists about the origin of this puzzling phenomenon, and it remains an enigma. [More...]

Itineraries

Day 01 Ulaanbaatar Arrival to Ulaanbaatar and check in hotel. City tour including of Gandan Monastery, Sukhbaatar square, Zaisan hill to preview whole city and one museum with optional varieties Natural History Museum. In the evening we’ll have exciting performance in Tumen Ekh Chuulga to see traditional folklore such as dance, song, mask dance. Hotel. Day 02 Taikhar rock After breakfast, we will drive to Taikhar rock. Lunchbox. After arrival in Taikhar rock will explorie the river, nature landscape and wildlife by walking and can have good photo shots. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp. Day 03 Bayantsagaan River Famous place After breakfast, we will drive to Bayantsgaan. We will visit to nomadic family. Lunchbox. Drive back to tourist camp. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp. Day 04 Horse trainer family, Ulaan khad cave After breakfast, we will drive to “HELLO” mountain. We will visit to horse trainer family. Lunchbox. Drive back to Ulaan khad cave. Dinner in natural tent. Day 05 Horse trainer family, Ulaan khad cave After breakfast, we will driveback to tourist camp. Lunchbox. Freetime. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp. Day 06 Tsenkher hot spa After breakfast, drive back to Tsetserleg administrative center of Arkhangai province. Lunch – picnic. Drive to Tsenkher hot spa, which water temperature reaches up to + 80 C degrees and have a bath under blue sky. Explore the local area by walking. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp. Day 07 Ulaanbaatar Today in the afternoon we will drive to Ulaanbaatar. Shopping. Lunch. Dinner. Hotel. Day 08 Departure After breakfast, will be transferred from hotel to train station or airport. We are traveling in Mongolia. We will leave tomorrow. But now we are writing our appreciation on a “Tourist’s impressions” note. We went to a old Horgo volcano-traveled in Terhiin Tsagaan lake with a horse for eight days. My daughter loved her horse and wanted to take him back with her. Haha, Further more, Mongolian people area very civil, kindness and their migrate methods are very exotic.
Just like driving a benz. Haha, so we promised we will come back and see a beautiful Gobi. (Continue)
