Karakorum-The ancient capital of Mongolia
The Symbolic ruins of Karakorum, the ancient capital city of Mongolia is one of the most popular travel destinations along with Erdenezuu monastery, the second largest Buddhist monastery in the country. Karakorum city was established in 1220 and served as the capital city of the Mongolia for 140 years.

Hustai National Park
After two hours drive to the west from Ulaanbaatar, you will arrive at Hustain nuruu Natutal reserve. In this forest steppe zone, the takhi, or Przewalski horse, the last true wild horse in the world, is being reintroduced. The takhi disappeared from the Gobi desert in the 1960 and world was left with small capital breeding population of horses in European zoos.

Erdene zuu Monastery
Erdene zuu, the first of Buddhist Monastery in Mongolia. Was built next to the ruins of Mongolia’s ancient capital it Karakhorum in 1585 on the order of Abtai San Khaan. Historical records suggest that the remnants of the capital building it were used in the construction of the Monastery. Today this beautiful monastery contains 108 stupas and attracts numerous tourists to see one of the best examples of traditional Mongolian Buddhist architecture.

Itineraries

Day 01 Ulaanbaatar
Arrival to Ulaanbaatar and check in hotel.

Day 02 Selenge province
Early in the morning will start our trip to Selenge province. Lunchbox – on the way. Continue drive and explore the current province natural region. Dinner and overnight in Amarbayasgalant tourist camp.

Day 03 Amarbayasgalant monastery and Bulgan aimag

After breakfast, visit the ancient Amarbayasgalant monastery - the second main one in Mongolia and attend in the morning praying meeting of monks. Lunch. Then, drive to the south via Erdenet city. Dinner and overnight in local holiday resort in Bulgan province.

Day 04 Karakorum city & Erdene Zuu Monastery

After whole day driving with exploration of beautiful nature landscape with wildlife view and meet local people. Lunchbox. Then continue the journey and arrival in Karakorum city. Dinner and overnight in tourist camp.

Day 05 Ulaanbaatar via Khustai National Park

After breakfast, we will drive to Ulaanbaatar. On the way visit the Khustai National park, where we’ll explore Przewalsky wild horse and local beauty natural scenery. Lunchbox. At late afternoon arrival in Ulaanbaatar. Check in hotel. Dinner. Hotel.

Day 06 Departure

After breakfast, will be transferred from hotel to train station or airport.
